LVSoxFan
Does anybody know when SRO tix are available? Or are they always? Here's why: two weeks ago we showed up and bought tix for that day's game at the Cell. The guy said there were only premium seats or SRO available (we said lower deck). Hell, yeah, that's fine--we took SRO, because we stand on the concourse the whole game anyway. But I cannot figure out when SRO are available. Last year I believe I was at a Boston game and did the same thing, but I recall on some other day it was perhaps not an option? My questions are these: a) Is SRO an option at every game? B) How about "premium" games--could I get SRO to the otherwise sold-out Cubs series? c) Can you buy SRO in advance? Feedback much appreciated. GO SOX <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would call the White Sox ticket dept. and get the answer right from them, that way you'll know for sure.
Texsox
I always thought they didn't start selling SRO until the game was sold out. It would encourage people to "sneak" into seats if they did it prior to a sell out.

LosMediasBlancas
I have never, ever heard of SRO at the Cell. In fact, the ticket window people get testy when people ask about it. It's too much of a Wrigley thing. Maybe they've started it this year.
LVSoxFan
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 1, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) I have never, ever heard of SRO at the Cell. In fact, the ticket window people get testy when people ask about it. It's too much of a Wrigley thing. Maybe they've started it this year. Nope. Last year they had it, as I was told by the ticket window person (I believe it was a Boston game, maybe it was Yanks or Oakland) that all they had were SRO. Hell, I said, no problem! I've had SRO seats to maybe three games between '04/'05 seasons but yes, always got them as a walk-up. This past Minnesota series we went to the window and were offered (if we wanted lower deck) either premium seats by home plate or SRO. So I guess where I'm going with this is I wonder if I should just show up at the Cubs series (or other premium games) and go for the SRO ticket, which I think most people do not realize exists.
