Don't forget Iguchi's play was clutch as hell. It doesn't matter that Ron Santo is faster than Molina....it was still a very tough play. If Crede doesn't catch his ball, it's just a strike. Can we add a third option, and make it Podsednik's non-catch vs the Indians on Monday?

Don't forget Rooney's follow-up words of "Oh Unbelievable!" for Uribe's catch.

I also liked Rooney's call for the last out of the ALCS. There is something really moving and unforgettable about the words "...the White Sox have won the pennant...and they're going to the World Series..." It was a dream come true. The WS was the icing on the cake. Man, I miss Rooney.

For some reason, the Sox winning the pennant had more of an effect on me than them winning the World Series. I've examined that countless times, but still haven't come to a reasonable explanation for it.

Rooney's call after winning the ALCS to me is better than the WS. Ofcourse the WS is a bigger prize, but the ALCS call was one of the best ever.

I love both the Uribe catch and the WS championship call so much too.

The fact that the Angels had pretty much owned us for the previous three years might've had something to do with that. In addition to that psychological disadvantage, I thought that a Colon-less Angels was going to be more difficult to beat than a Clemens-less Astros. After the Rocket left early in Game 1, I knew that we were going to win it all.

I am so glad I am not the only one that thinks this. I think for me personaly it was because I knew the AL rep in the World Series would win, so winning the pennent meant we would win it all....I am going to stop now before I confuse everyone :bang

I'd say Iguchi's, simply because that was more of a skillful play. Crede's catch was a great one too, but it was more a result clumsyness and getting lucky as a result.

Joe's play wasn't that impressive to me, really. I suppose it has to do with the fact that I think it really hit the tarp, or maybe just that all the bouncing around the body seemed lucky to me.

Iguchi's was the more talented play, I think, as well as prettier.
