May 22, 200619 yr So I used Excel to see how often players score when they are on base. I used all hits except for home runs (not hard to score), and I couldn't find a place that kept track of when people got on base due to errors. Includes singles, doubles, triples, walks and hit by pitch, which really should cover jsut about everything except for errors. Iguchi 63.16% Thome 60.32% Anderson 55.56% Podsednik 54.10% Gload 50.00% Crede 47.83% Konerko 47.62% Dye 47.50% Ozuna 40.00% Uribe 34.48% Pierzynski 33.96% Widger 25.00% Mackowiak 19.35% Cintron 16.67% I find it amazing that Anderson is so high in the 9 hole when he is far and away above Uribe and above Podsednik. I guess that could have to do with Pods CS. I wasn't really trying to prove anything with this, but it's kinda interesting.
May 22, 200619 yr Well, when you only get on base 10 times (sorry)... and the top of the lineup comes up after you, its not hard to score.
May 22, 200619 yr QUOTE(rudylaw @ May 22, 2006 -> 10:28 AM) There is no particular reason why I used the Rudolph, but I don't know if there will ever be a right time to use the Rudolph Christmas?
May 22, 200619 yr Author Like I said, I'm not trying to prove anything here, but it's just interesting.
