May 31, 200619 yr A bunch of us are going to the sox-reds trip in the middle of june, just wondering if anyone can give any advice on what hotel we should look into getting. What's in walking distance to the park? Any help is appreciated as always
May 31, 200619 yr Brian and I stayed at the Holiday Inn that is a few minutes from the park (the hockey arena is right across the street). It is okay, nothing fabulous, but it got the job done.
May 31, 200619 yr I would wait until Jim gives you some tips. Being that I lived there I have no idea what hotels to stay in. JimH should know exactly where to stay.

May 31, 200619 yr I stayed at a Crowne Plaza for like $75.00 a night and we were real close to the park from what I remember. I would recommend using Priceline, naming your own price and seeing what it gives you. The park is centrally located in the downtown area so as long as your in the vicinity of downtown you'll be very close.

You can walk over the Ohio River bridge to the ballpark, it takes 5 minutes. In addition, you're walking distance to the riverfront entertainment area.
