Series Preview: White Sox @ Rangers

By Bob Hull

After winning 2 of 3 from Central Division Rivals Detroit and Cleveland, the White Sox (38-24) will embark on a 7 game road trip, beginning with a four game set in Texas (34-29) at Ameriquest Field in Arlington and ending with a three game series in Cincinnati against the Reds in interleague play. Texas, the American League West Leaders, are coming off of a 6-4 road trip against Kansas City, Chicago, and Boston. MORE

This series makes me nervous, not sure why. I'd be geeked with a split.

...and we were at home.

I made mention of the fact that Texas plays well against the Sox. However, for once, I think that the Sox will have their heads screwed on straight - it's time to make that run going into the All-Star game. It starts now.

Anything more than a split by us and I'd be shocked, even though I like the matchups and I think we are getting closer to clicking.

My 3 of 4 prediction is based on just that - we miss Millwood, and we're getting closer to playing good baseball (yesterday not withstanding).
