I posted a question about him a few months ago, but i was still looking for info on the kid and i cant find anything. does anyone know where he is, or if we gave up on him?

I forget which team, but he's supposed to be coming back up with Great Falls or Bristol. He had been rehabbing in extended spring training.

All I know about him is that he was drafted out of New Lenox here in Chicago area,

hes very tall, totally nice guy. Met him a SoxFest with a guy who went to that same H.S.

He grew up a SOX FAN. Will make for good press if hes successful.

Don't hold your breath. My guess is he will be out of the organization very soon, unless he shows some semblance of a fastball, command and obviously his knuckle curve.

Its too bad, he was on the fast track for a while and than totally blew up.

His big problems started with the season opening game in 2004 he started out rolling then came up lame after his 7th K in the 4th and he pitched one more inning the rest of year. Last year he made a couple starts his control was off. He then went to the DL and came back in the middle of the season and really got into a good groove, then went down again. I have always wondered if Honel shouldn't have had the surgery back in '04. If he could come back and is on he has good stuff and can be non hittable

its a shame. I just think injures are gonna hurt his career heavily.
