southsider2k5
Dear White Sox Fans, Thank you for all your votes and for helping me become a 2006 American League All-Star. Being selected as one of the Final Vote nominees was special, but to be selected as an All-Star by the fans -- over four very talented and deserving players -- is truly an unbelievable honor. Ever since I joined the White Sox, it's been one dream come true after another. From the amazing 2005 season and a World Series title, to this year's great start and now my second All-Star berth, I'm so fortunate that I found a place I can call home. The White Sox have the best fans in the world, and your support for me during these past few days just proves how passionate and dedicated you are. I'll do everything I can to help the American League win the All-Star Game and secure home-field advantage for the World Series. Hopefully, it will end up benefiting the White Sox come October! Thank you again, White Sox fans! Sincerely, A.J.

Milkman delivers
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 12:49 PM) ... are remote Very nice. The exact response I was hoping for. But seriously, why don't they just let AJ say what he wants in his own words?

Guest JimH
This is basically what he said this morning on the Score, so to me it looks like his own words, just rearranged by a PR person.
retro1983hat
Brooks Boyer: AJ, we are putting a copy of this letter signed by you on the White Sox Website. AJ: Huh? Boyer: You know, a letter to thank the fans. AJ: Uh, OK.
LVSoxFan
I don't think AJ would say "thank you" to all of us by having a flack create a letter from scratch. Besides, it's not like AJ's not a well-spoken guy. Maybe some editing but I have no reason to believe it's not him.
