He was pulled in game which led Jason to believe there may have been a trade, but I doubt that was the case. Sweeney also 2-3 with a double, BB, and a run. Phillips with a rare bad outing (6 IP, 5 R (4 ER)), but still had 7 Ks as opposed to 2 walks. Box Score Birmingham scored 3 in the top of the 9th to take a 6-5 lead, but gave up 2 in the bottom half to fall 7-6. 2 hits for Collaro (HR #10), Lopez, and Schnurstein. Box Score Kanny lost 12-8. 2 hits for Orlando, Castillo, and Ricks. HR #7 for Cunningham. Flores started, he got rocked. More bad from Long, more good from Chirino. Box Score Great Falls won 8-1. 2 hits for Gilbert (now hitting .441), Carter, Grace (HR #2), and Marrero. 3 hits for Tavares. Santeliz 6 IP, 1 R, 5 K, 0 BB, 3 hits. Pitching staff only allowed 4 hits today. Box Score Bristol lost 4-1. Gerst 2-3 with a walk.
