Turkey now threatening to send troops into Northern Iraq. Seems the Kurds are using the "new Iraq" as a launching site for terrorist activities in Turkey according to the Turkish government.

 

It would put the US government in a precarious situation. We couldn't support Israel's incursions into Lebanon to stop terrorists the government there is unable to control while at the same time chastising Turkey for the same thing.

That's a really good point. But I don't think it's one the US will care much about, since we're typically only interested in talking the talk, not walking the walk.

This administration isn't one for following its own rules. It kind of makes them up to fit the situation.
