Javy Lopez sent down by Boston

Featured Replies

The trade for David Riske is looking better and better. Boston also shipped out Willie Harris, and brought up a pitcher who has been shelled for the few innings he's been in the majors.

Willie for Wily Mo and Lopez for Van Buren.

Riske was a steal.

Guess who's gonna show up on some sox fan girl's doorstep.

I don't think it makes the trade look any different. Lopez has pitched well for them. I don't think the Sawks ever thought he was better than Riske, they just needed a lefty. Really a win-win, no surprises type of trade.

I thought this was about Javy Lopez that catcher

Except... he's on Baltimore.

I know but if you just glance at it and you read "Javy Lopez sent down" most would automatically think of the catcher over the pitcher.
