July 28, 200619 yr One you can file under: Some People's Kids. A guy left a check for substantially more than $20,000 sitting on the bar one time a few years ago. When he came back to get it, he didn't even thank me -- just took the check and left. I couldn't have cashed the damn thing if I had wanted to, obviously (it was an IRA disbursement, IIRC), and I wasn't expecting a monetary reward of any kind, but a handshake and a "Thank You" would have been nice.
