MLB TV Mac User question

Featured Replies

Do you need Windows Media Player to do it? If you do how do you download it b/c when i try I get the application as a .sitx and can't open it. What do i need to do in order to watch MLB TV on my mac. I need to see my Sox games, someone help.

You used to be able to also use Real.

Boston wins again on another walk-off, this time a single by loretta. Carmona had two outs and then walked the bases loaded. This sucks.

I have MLB.tv plugins for both Safari and Firefox, usually it works better on FF. I downloaded Windows Media Player for Mac, I think it was version 10, I don't know.

It usually works all right, though I have been known to complain often and loudly about the choppy streams and inconsistent product and the fact that they can't get their act together and offer digital downloads for Mac, though.

I got blacked out from Sox games recently by mlb.tv. (I'm out of the viewing area).

It seems that when I updated IE6 to IE7 it caused it to be blocked.

Sooo... I canceled it.

:(

I haven't used IE in years.

I have a Mac OSX v. 10.4.2 and I downloaded the windows media player for Mac, v9 i think. But my streams are choppy and the picture when I use Firefox just drops out completely sometimes leaving me with only audio. And for some reason the preferences button on the player that allows you to choose Real or Media Player doesn't appear when I use it on a Mac. I have a pc at home and have no trouble getting the games on it. It's frustrating. Sometimes it just won't load the game and gives me an error, something about "playlist not found."
