June 17, 200322 yr After the first inning, it was 1-1. Now, in the 7th, it's 11-1 Tampa Bay. Maybe when the Stein fires Torre, the Sox can sign him.

Not to mention, he's got $7 million left to be paid - even if he gets fired. A bit OT.. but yesterday Bud was in Milwaukee getting some award and after I hounded him for an autograph and to talk to him about the AS game and the HF advantage.. (I'm in the middle of a long post about the weekend and should be done and post it this weekend) anyhoo.. he was on his way to NY to talk to King George about this Torre crap. He said that Joe is in no danger of being fired - from George's mouth - and the reason he was going there was because of the media speculation/leaks. I guess there may be some legal issues surrounding a few of the NY beat reporters and their big mouths. Maybe a closed NY clubhouse soon...
