Anyone here know the name of the hotel the players and staff are staying at in San Fransisco? I believe it was the Marriott Parc 55 a few years ago, but can't remember.

Actually, I want to take my disabled nephew who is 8 years old to get a few autographs. I live in San Francisco, and at the ballpark, it's hard getting him down near the dugouts in his wheelchair, so the hotel is the easiest option. He loves the White Sox, and in the past, they've been great with signing autographs for him at their hotel.

Everyone is always so quick to rip on people when they don't even know the story. I don't know the hotel, but good luck finding it and I hope your nephew gets some good autographs and has a good time.

Call the stadium. They can make accomidations for you if scheduling permits.

OK, I guess I was a little broad with the use of "everyone" but you (you as in most rational people) know what I meant.

 

The story does matter. He was calling this guy out as an adult autograph hound when all he wanted to do was make his handicapped nephew's day.

I don't know which hotel it is exactly. I BELIEVE, but am not totally certain, that most MLB teams stay in Westin hotels where they are available. For the Giants visitors, last year it was the Westin Tabor Center. I have no idea if that applies for the A's or not.

 

Again, I can't say this with certainty. But if you hear a rumor from someone else that its a Westin, or W or something like that, I can say thats also what I have heard.

I do think that doing it at the park is best though. They are very accomidating with handicap folks, and it dimishes the risk of having to fight for an autograph in an uncontrolled situation such as at the hotel.
