uh oh, the offense didn't show up for his last 3 of his last 4 starts. He should have won the Boston game, the Oakland game, and even though he gave up 5 runs last night, he still should have won. This offense has just been disgusting to watch the past month or so. So, lets all congratulate Jon Garland on what should be his 20th win! Good job!

Does a 4.4 era pitcher deserve 20 wins? If not then you should be thanking the offense for all the wins they got him early on.

Very true. Garland had a horrible start and his overall numbers have been just slightly better than average this year. He deserves as much blame as the offense for him not getting 20 wins.

I agree the offense gave Jon some wins he didn't deserve, so I would say it's all evened out.
