Wouldn't it be cool if...

Featured Replies

We swept the tribe and minnesota lost at least 3 of their 4 with KC?

Not only would that be cool, it's also absolutely necessary to make the weekend in Minny mean anything.

nope that would suck. Totally hate the playoffs, really messes with my yoga classes.

That would be a bit of alright. But it ain't gonna happen.

It's over, man.

Well, if you and your bo have plans to make a quiche and go to Yoga class, I'd hate baseball to interfere. Real men don't do yoga, we're too macho.

Quoting the correct post when responding is also really cool.

No. I don't want to be in Minnesota when they clinch their playoff spot.

The other side of the coin on that is, having the team go through that particular bit of humiliation and the meaninglessness of the final series in Minny (regardless of when they clinch) might inspire them to make sure they don't put themselves in the same position again next year.

I'm looking for potential positives in the strangest of places at this stage.

I'd rather see KC sweep the Twins so we don't have to deal with that pesky tiebreaker.

Didn't Minnesota clinch in Chicago in 2004? Well, we know how they came out in '05 from the gate, whether that has anything to do with it. It'll happen when it happens and if the Sox are on the field to see it, it can only serve to light a fire in them for next year.

Well the Twins did it win the Sox clinched on their field in 2000. They moved up to second the next year and then proceeded to win 3 division titles in a row.

The Sox clinched on the Tigers home field last year. Look what happened...
