December 7, 200619 yr KW likes to move pitchers. Could Gio, Haegar and Floyd/Broadway get Carl Crawford????? Please ease my pain and say yes.
December 7, 200619 yr Tampa Bay has said Crawford is untouchable. If you want Rays OFers, Baldelli is the guy and I question giving up but so much for him considering his injury past and considering Anderson isn't washed up at 23 years old. IF BOTH panned out, that would be great, but there is some risk there. I'd be fine giving up Gio or Floyd and something else for Baldelli. THe guy is great when healthy, but CC isn't an option it appears.
December 7, 200619 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 11:25 PM) Haeger could probally nab crawford by himself no? You're daggum right.
December 7, 200619 yr Can we get this pinned? While the Rays are reportedly open to moving Rocco Baldelli, they will not trade Carl Crawford, according to MLB.com. After reading a rumor that Crawford was up for grabs, the Brewers called the Rays to check on his availability. Rays officials told the Brewers, "Absolutely not."
December 7, 200619 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 11:25 PM) Haeger could probally nab crawford by himself no? No way man...the Rays would probably have to add a prospect.
December 7, 200619 yr QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:32 PM) Can we get this pinned? Yeah, and I heard Kenny/Ozzie say that they felt no need to move anyone unless the perfect deal came along. This was it?
