It's the time of year when many people think about giving to the various charities. Here is a nice reference tool to help check out those who ask for your money.

Was what too subtle?

I am a big fan of giving locally. My families money stays right in MC, and goes to organizations I see at work everyday.

As the owner of a couple of abandoned/unwanted animals, I always give to my local Humane Society.

I made money off of the United Way this year.... gave $75 and won $100 through a drawing :D

Part of my job is doing those United Way presentations, usually at schools. Lots of fun.

It was through my employer... so no, I'm not giving it back

...I gave it to Miss PA so she could buy clothing :)

I once won tickets to a Titans - Colts game. I have donated it back in subsequent years.
