when i worked in newspapers i used to work christmas quite a bit. when i worked for my first daily, that initial year i ended up drawing the short straw and working christmas eve, christmas day, and the day after. i woke up the morning of the 24th with a wicked cold and was hurting all three days. that pretty much sucked.

What the heck do you guys do for a living that makes you work these crappy hours?

 

I'm off until the third, but it's not paid for.

 

I'll be working through the New Year's holiday so all you good folks can receive your tax reporting forms (1099's - 1098's - etc.) in a timely manner.
