The genius-ness of Doug Christie

Featured Replies

LOS ANGELES -- Doug Christie, who signed a second 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this month, was suspended by the team on Tuesday.

Christie informed the Clippers last weekend that he no longer wanted to play for them. He was contractually bound to Los Angeles through Tuesday night's game against Phoenix, after which he can sign with another team.

He averaged 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in six games for Los Angeles. He signed his second contract with them on Feb. 11.

Great post for your 1000th, bro. All those views, and only me to respond. :huh

Yeah, sometimes I just don't know what going on in athletes' heads. You get to play a game for a living and have a few games left on your contract, and then you're going to b**** about it!?!? Lame.

To be fair, he was only saying what his wife told him to say....
