June 25, 200322 yr ESPN is reporting he will reject the trade. Doesn't want to play in the NL and doesn't want to play on artificial turf. This is the same guy that rejected a trade to the Yankees if I recall.
June 25, 200322 yr Just trying to look at this in different (Juan Gone's?) perspective. He has always been successful in a Ranger's uniform. He changed teams once before, to the Kitties, and it was basically a nightmare for all parties concerned. He's happy in Texas, he's productive and it messes with his family situation. There are other things a husband/father has to take into consideration other than competitiveness. I know, he's in the wrong business then, but his contract says otherwise.
