He might be the greatest 6-7 hitter to ever play this game when it's all said and done. It's just when you get to your 3-5 sluggers, Brian might not be good enough; you need your Thomases, Ordonezes, Lee/Konerkos to carry you.

oh he's clutch but he's streaky as all hell, which is why boston got annoyed with him. he sucked the first couple months of this season, but he's really picked it up lately. i expect him to go through another valley in a little while, but hopefully konerko will have his s*** together by then.
