April 13, 200719 yr Interesting idea. It would be a nice replacement but only if they were gonna get rid of Briggs, if not it might lock up too much cap space. Id like to see us take a look at him though. Then we can here the announcers talk about how fast he is every week instead of just when Denver plays in prime time.

April 13, 200719 yr The Giants had originally tried trading for him and I'd imagine they'd be the front-runners to land him. I'd also be a fan of picking up Wilson because I think the Bears need to do all they can to provide themselves with some insurance for this whole Briggs situation (and if the Bears feel they have that guy on the roster already, than Wilson is a good guy to bring in while the Bears work on developing that young LB already on the roster or the one they draft).
