Here's hoping they find a f***ing clue in the next 16 games. We have a series against the NorthSide Numbnuts, a 3 game series against the Twinkies, and then a 10 game road trip against the true s***burgers of the American League. June 27, 200322 yr We still have scored 11 fewer runs than the Devil Rays to date. We are missing the clutch hit/pitch that separates the decent streak we're on from a winning streak. Bring on the Scrubs.
June 27, 200322 yr Author I don't mind losing 15-5 but games like that game2 just kill me. When they could have easily kicked the Twins and Cubs' asses and they just let those damn fundamentals get to them. Yeah 4.5 and 2.5 back are a HUGE difference and more likely than not, they're gonna hunt us bigtime. As Brando mentioned, we have lost about 8 games like that? Think how easily we could be in first place right now. Actually folks, we are 5.5 out. 4.5 in back of the Twins. I really don't think the Royals can keep this up. They'll finish a little below .500....maybe like 79-83 or something like that.
