June 27, 200322 yr The season for me has been a major disappointment. There is still time to salvage the season, but the next six games are big or as the modern day haircuts say "huge". Ask me after the next Twins series.
June 27, 200322 yr I voted great but we still should have swept... If you are in the Twins or Royals position 2 out of 3 is great, but we need to gain some ground and just winning 2 of 3 we only gained 1 game. A sweep, we would have been 2 1/2 games back of the Twins...but its 4 1/2 behind them..that's a 2 game swing. We need a winning streak folks...7,8,9 in a row..that means sweeps galore.
June 27, 200322 yr Prior to the series, I think most of us would have been happy if we knew we were going to come out of that nightmarish Baggie Dome with 2 out of 3. However, we all know that we should have won game 2. So, it is with some reluctance that vote to look at this positively. But, yes Gash ... We really could stand to run off 9 or 10 in arow. It wouldn't hurt a bit.

June 27, 200322 yr We just have to keep winning series... 2 out of 3, 2 out of 3, and so on, and we will be back in first place. If we can't consistently win series, than we are not a first place team and this series against the twinkies means nothing.
