I will not root against this team. I would like to see a lot of trades made and yet the Sox win the World Series with a young team ala the 1980 olympic hockey team.

You have high expectations

What are they supossed to do, hang their head after every win because of how bad this season has gone?

The overdone celebration was basically sarcasm by our entire coaching staff, and I can't blame them for trying to have some fun in an otherwise very s***ty situation.

It's embarrassing that the season has come to this.

and thomas gets a hbp.

I can't root against the Sox. I can't believe some of the people on this board are rooting against them so we can get a better draft pick in a draft where half the players end up being busts. And they complain the Sox will f*** up the pick anyway.

It was obviously sarcasm by Guillen....good to see he can still have fun (and yes, I'm serious).
