June 28, 200718 yr Did I miss the thread about this? Too bad it took them half a season to do this. The only way this kid is going to get his repititions and work on his secondary pitches is if they put him into the rotation. Good move.
June 30, 200718 yr Both of his performances so far are not encouraging. I hope he develops and he is still young with a strong arm, but so far he looks utterly useless.
June 30, 200718 yr Author He's not going to recover over night... breaking down and rebuilding a young pitcher with this many bad habits takes time. It really might be 2009 before he is "ready" for the majors.
June 30, 200718 yr QUOTE(diegotony06 @ Jun 30, 2007 -> 04:11 PM) We're grooming him to take Buerhle's spot in the rotation. He is young and cheap. I'm pretty sure that's Danks job. Sisco... well... he's got a long way to go. Edited June 30, 200718 yr by TheOcho
July 1, 200718 yr I see you have Gio in your sig. I don't know if you've gotten to meet him, but he is a hell of a guy. A real nice kid, and a class act.
July 1, 200718 yr Actually talked to him a little bit during ST this year. No serious talk and I'm not going to say we are best friends ( ) but he seemed really cool.
July 2, 200718 yr QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 12:58 AM) Actually talked to him a little bit during ST this year. No serious talk and I'm not going to say we are best friends ( ) but he seemed really cool. Very respectful and polite to fans, of all ages. I shook his hand and told him how good he was and he said thank you. Also got his sig on a '05 Hogs card. He's a righty with the pen. He got a standing ovation after picthing a great game and he tipped his cap to the fans. Only Barons player to do that this year. Edited July 2, 200718 yr by JPN366
