July 30, 200718 yr Gustavo Molina-C-Orioles Jul. 30 - 5:16 pm et Orioles claimed catcher Gustavo Molina off waivers from the White Sox. Molina, 25, opened the year as Toby Hall's replacement in Chicago and went 1-for-18 while backing up A.J. Pierzynski. He was hitting .209/.265/.281 in 139 at-bats for Triple-A Charlotte. He's a quality defender, but he'd make Orioles fans yearn for Paul Bako if he took over as the team's No. 2 catcher next year. He'll be assigned to Triple-A Norfolk.
July 30, 200718 yr QUOTE(29andPoplar @ Jul 30, 2007 -> 04:33 PM) Clearing a spot on the 40 man, something is up. Especially considering that the 40 man was sitting at 39 before that move.
July 30, 200718 yr Yep, something is gonna happen. also, could this mean that Lucy will be getting promoted to Charlotte? Or is Wiki still the man?
