Nine Innings from Ground Zero

Just watched the HBO documentary. Pretty good stuff. The 2001 World Series is definitely one of the best of all-time. Had a debate over on another baseball site I'm on about the greatest recently. I still think it was 1991, but 2001 is pretty good. Lots of people swear by it.

1991 was it for me. Morris pitching into the 10th in game 7 of the WS is the stuff of legend. The 1992 NLCS that ended with a play at the plate was as exciting a series I can recall as well.

I watched it when it debuted on HBO a few years ago. Made me feel bad for cheering against the Yankees.

2001 goes down as the greatest ever for me, but I was only 5 in 1991.

2005 was the most exciting WS for me.
