Five hours after the cops leave the crash scene, the father of one of the victims finds his son's body wrapped around a tree.

Yeah, this has been in the papers for a few weeks now. Cops screwed up - should have checked even if they kid said nothing, and certainly after he said to check. That is reckless abandonment, textbook.

 

Kid lied too of course - said he was sober, said he insisted over and over again. Plenty of idiots involved.

 

Yeah, pretty much everyone screwed the pooch on this one. The Gary police really messed up, but the boy sure didn't help. This has been big news in The Region.
