October 8, 200718 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 12:47 PM) What would cause a file on a shared network drive to go into a "read only" state besides someone else having the file open? Some asshole saving the file wrong?
October 8, 200718 yr Author QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 01:05 PM) Some asshole saving the file wrong? I can see the file and get into the file. No one else is in the file, and when I open it up, it shows up as read only instantly. I have to save it as something different to save my work in it.
October 8, 200718 yr you might have clicked the default ecliptical button. try pressing alt+control+delete at the same time...like 3-4 times in a row.
October 9, 200718 yr Author QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 03:30 PM) Someone might have protected it. The permissions weren't set right. They only had the person who created a file able to edit and save it. It took them long enough to figure it out!
