I saw a blurb about their football team on SportsCenter last night. Apparently they have outscored their opponents like 533-0 through nine games and scored 72 points in the first quarter of a game. I was trying to find more info about it and I wasnt sure but I think it might be 8 on 8 down there. I just cant imagine what you would have to do to score 72 points in a quarter. You literally would have to almost take the ball out of the offenses hands everytime they touch it.

I believe I read that they had 6 turnovers in the 1st quarter alone. They really must have just sat on the ball later in the game, as they "only" ended up with like 86.

I like their coach's attitude toward it.

Both coaches had excellent attitudes, and it was 11 on 11. I was a little uncertain about taking a knee at the 5 when you could have scored a touchdown. That seemed a little cheesy. But the usual things a coach will do to not run up the score, lineups and play callings were already done.

Dan Patrick was discussing running up the score the other day after the Patriots scored like 50+ points.

What's more embarassing, a team scoring 50+ points on you, or a team taking a knee?

I think the team taking the knee. I could not imagine having a kid all alone, heading towards the end zone and then stops and takes a knee. I am guessing, based on this team's successes through the years, this is not the first time this team has faced blowing teams out by huge margins and he must be doing something right, the other coaches do not seem to complain.

If you're that much bettter than the other team, it's a no win situation. If you take a knee, it's like taking pity on the other team and it comes across as arrogant. If you continue to score, it's seen as running up the score. :huh

The bigger issue for the better team, especially at this point in the season, is balancing playing your starters, keeping them sharp, and potentially running up the score or resting your starters at the risk of hurting your team's chances in the next round.
