I know Oakland is dealing from a position of strength so why bend over? With Toronto paying Smelgado 17mill what are they doing taking on payroll, didn't they claim to lose upteenth millions of dollars again? Toronto has good young players, if they didn't have Delgado's deadwieght they might not be the AL east's b****.

November 17, 200223 yr MJ for Lidle seemed to be a huge favor for us. Well. I guess KW is just not capable of making trades that the SOX would get more for the deal than the other team. Toronto gave up nothing to get this guy. I guess KW is looking for trades in which we will lose more than we are gaining some.
November 17, 200223 yr Thats definately a possibility. Its really hard to go by rumors. For all we know the A's wouldn't do the deal unless they got a solid arm and KW said no. We don't know what goes on in the negotiations, so it really makes it hard to tell.
