Jason Stark, ESPN

Featured Replies

Stark was somewhat negative. Regarding Alomar, he reported how Robbie has lost it from the right side, his overall average has gone down so much that he doesn't see how he can just "turn a switch" to get his skills back.

Regarding Ev, he said that his average has gone way down after a quick start, and that his bat speed is questionable. Also expressed doubt about his ability to play center, which is what the Sox need.

I'm sure we'll get a lot of scouting reports tonight.

Enough with the negative vibes Jim, man, you gotta look at it with a little bit of positive enforcement. That negative s*** will kill ya.

Just reporting what I heard, MN. No value judgement on my part. Once that uniform goes on, I'm in their corner.

The hair club for men client doesn't know s***. Just trying to be a negative jerk. Maybe if his Phills would have made the trade his view would be different

Our views are just as good as his views

All i know is i totally DESPISE negativity and if somone is going to continue to take the negative view on things over and over and over and over and over, i am going to be sure to point it out.

Well I guess Jason was wrong. Alomar got on base 2 times from the right side today. Once on a hit another on a walk. Both off 2 of the best lefty relievers in the game.

Eddie Guardado one of the best lefty relievers? He threw 4 pitches that landed about 350-400 feet away, and 2 of them stayed fair.

He is shaky, at best, and I don't want him coming in for me in a big game situation. Good, yes....one of the best? I'd much rather have Marte, Rincon, Remlinger, Myers, Groom, et al....coming in for me in a big situation.

Before tonight he was 20/21 in save opportunities. I say that is very good.

As much as I hate to say it, Everyday Eddy is better than our closer.
