January 17, 200818 yr http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=Argm...p&type=lgns Dallas native Jennings agrees to deal to join Rangers rotation By STEPHEN HAWKINS, AP Sports Writer January 17, 2008 FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- The Texas Rangers have reached an agreement on a one-year deal worth about $4 million with free agent right-hander Jason Jennings. The agreement was confirmed late Wednesday night by two people familiar with the negotiations who spoke on condition of anonymity because no announcement had been made. The team could announce the deal as early as Thursday. Surprised the Sox didn't take a flyer out on him for only $4 Million. I guess they are targeting Colon, or will stay with Danks and Floyd. January 17, 200818 yr Hey, he's cheaper than Juan Uribe! Boy oh boy that would have been a decent insurance policy/reclamation project.

Maybe he wanted to pitch in his home state. Also, Jennings is a lefty, right? We already have Buehrle and probably Danks. Any more lefties in the rotation and we'd become the 2004 Kansas City Royals.
