July 4, 200322 yr Sitting back tonight, I was running through my mind various Sox players of previous rosters. I came up to the name Noberto "Paco" Martine. I stopped for a while and realized I don't know what the f*** has happened to him! Does anyone know what's been going on with Paco?
July 4, 200322 yr I know he went to the Angels in 1998 after the Sox and then I remember seeing him in 1999 with Toronto. I want to say he was with the 'Jays for a little bit in 2000, but that I am not sure of. I haven't heard of him since 2000 at the latest though, that's for certain. Why did he vanish without a trace? Probably because he sucked.

July 4, 200322 yr He finished his career in the Mexican Major League and then with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic Minor League. Now hes an instructor at a baseball camp in New Jersey. He played decently off the bench for us but when he went to Anaheim and Toronto he hit like .215 and .222. And thats not good when BA is your strength. He also had some speed. He stole ten bases once for us...
July 4, 200322 yr Martin was a good utility guy with a good bat. Sheesh everybody sucks. Just because the guy isn't a superstar it doesn't mean he sucks. Hell i'd prefer paco over graffy http://www.baseball-reference.com/m/martino01.shtml
