heres the rest of the article....

wow...that's depressing

Soriano's rookie line - .268/.304/.432 - 29 walks, 18 homers, 55 XBHs, and 125 K's

That looks like a very easily repeatable line, because it's below average. If he can hit 21 more homers the next season, that'd be fantastic.

BTW, in Soriano's second year, he walked fewer times - 23 - than he did his first season.

As far as his defense, there are plays that are expected to be made and look routine in the major leagues, that don't get made at lower levels and sometimes by such a margin that no one would even blink an eye.

I don't know what to think of that article now since they said Josh Fields struggles with the breaking ball... that couldn't be farther from the truth as he his a great breaking ball hitter... he just can't catch up to the fastball.

just got back from Tucson for the weekend, AR in his limited time at bat was patient, and when he made contact absolutely ripped the ball. saw him hit a screamer right at 3rd for an out against SD on Sunday, he walked away nodding his head that what should have been, wasn't a hit. limited exposure but still liked what I saw, could not possibly be worse than Uribe

i take it we're not allowed to post embedded flash videos in our posts?

edit: Just watched the video a second time, his hand and bat speed are ridiculous..
