July 4, 200322 yr I don't think there's any doubt that it's Loaiza. This season would already be gone without his contributions. With Bartolo throwing .500 ball and Buerhle starting out 2-10, what Loaiza has done cannot be overestimated.
July 4, 200322 yr It's gotta be Loaiza if you take everything into account. I heard a great point by Peter Gammons this morning on ESPN Radio. He said that if it weren't for Loaiza's brilliant start, the Sox wouldn't have been in a position to make the trades we just made. Without his 11 wins, we'd be screwed, and as Gammons said, he should be the AS game starter. If you want to talk about the past month (.344, 10 HR, 24 RBI since June 1), then I don't think there's any doubt that it would be Frank, but the MVP of our 1st half as a whole is E-Lo.
July 5, 200322 yr unless your a total moron i dont know how you cant vote for loz.........we can say that hes a major reason were still floating above water..........

July 5, 200322 yr Here are the reasons why you should vote fore 1 of these guys: Frank: 12th inning HR vs Twins and he proved everyone who thought his skills were diminished wrong! E-Lo: I dont know why anyone would vote for him! KW: He got Colon, Everett, and Robbie! Val: He turned the season around with a walk-off HR vs the Scrubs. BTW, 1st Half LVP: Billy "Dumbass Blown Saves" Botch!
July 5, 200322 yr KENNY deserves some concederation Kenny Rogers? Certainly you aren't talking about KW..... and if you were, that calls for green
