"I think the biggest thing that surprised me is not the on-the-field play, because I've seen that," said Swisher, who will play his first home game in a Sox uniform.

"I think it's the inside-the-clubhouse camaraderie. A lot of times the word 'family' is thrown around loosely. But around here it's not. When you talk about the White Sox's family, it is family. And I'm proud to be part of it."

I absolutely LOVE hearing this type of talk. This team has sorely missed this the past few years and I have to give huge Kudos to Kenny for bringing in guys like Swish, Cabrera, Quentin, Linebrink, etc...and really giving this team an apparent spark that it's been sorely lacking. 6 games into the season...and I'm already "tingly"..... keep it up guys!

I actually feel really, really good about this team right now, a lot of which has to do with Gavin and Danks throwing well, but also just because they've played well. They could easily be 5-1 right now, and they are playing fantastic. If they could get out to a great start in April and do their best to bury a couple teams, I'd feel excellent about their chances.

Everyday I get closer to buying a Swisher jersey or jersey tee. Quotes like those push me to it.
