no doubt that cain has some great stuff. But, Lincecum's ERA is about 2.3 runs better. I can see your point though if you take out the 9 er STL game from Cain's 2008 resume.

There is no doubt Lincecum is better, or at least performing better, but people who have yet to see Cain are going to be in for a surprise if they think it's going to be easy win.

There is no easy win with this offense when it takes naps against any random pitcher, but I don't think Cain is really that good. Terrible GO/AO ratio, mediocre WHIP, and not a fantastic K/9 to make up for it like Lincecum (though it's good...Lincecum's is good FWIW)...from the stats, it looks like Cain is a guy the Sox are going to light the f*** up.
