Can't disagree there.

And KC won again tonight.  I think they're 5.5 up.

They could have an August swoon all they want, the more their lead increases, the more scared I become.

If they get a big enough lead, a swoon wont matter. This sox team isnt capable of winning 10 or 12 in a row.

Which was exactly my point.

In 2000, we used a huge first half to build up a lead in the division that was so big that we couldn't blow it, unless we were the Detroit Tigers. As late in the year as August 1, we were 11.5 up on Cleveland. If you blow an 11.5 game lead in two months....then you are really s***ty.

In other words, the 1995 Angels were really s***ty

If the Royals get a double digit game lead at any point in the year....they'll win it.

The biggest problem is, the twins and sox give the royals a little more confidence with each passing day. Losing 3 of 4 to the rays and tigers is unacceptable.

Not only is it unacceptable, it's embarassing!

EXACTLY............you hit the nail on the head there yas.......

Frank lost some votes last night. And we're trying so hard!

Frank lost some votes last night. And we're trying so hard!

how do you know this??? where are the vote standings at???? last i saw he and varitek were pretty much head to head.......at least thats what the mlb site said this morning........

bbtn said last night that frank was gaining fast and the margin was real small

if KC gets any bigger of a lead, we aren't going to be able to lose one game to them the rest of the way, that's not a good position to be in. freakin darrell may last night, man oh man
