July 9, 200322 yr I think all total between the various submissions I generated about 20K votes. That's not even a dent in the 10.6 million figure. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp
July 9, 200322 yr Everyone that voted their hearts out needs to be proud of themselves and give yourself a big pat on the back. The BoSox fans outnumber us by a great deal but you showed what being a fan is all about. Theres a highly chance that Frank will be there in place of Sweeney so we win either way
July 9, 200322 yr Author Frank did end in 2nd. Varitek was the AL vote leader after each of the three days and was the fans' choice over White Sox DH Frank Thomas, Yankees first baseman Jason Giambi and Angels catcher Bengie Molina. Varitek and Jenkins will each fill the 32nd and final roster spots in the American and National Leagues, respectively, after three days of extremely close races Well .. we gave it a good effort. Next year, I'll have a program to convert images to text so I'll be prepared to MAKE SURE A WHITE SOX candidate (if there is one) wins!
July 9, 200322 yr Wouldn't it just suck if all those votes were for naught? I am highly doubtful that those votes ever counted.
