Honestly the only time I can remember the Sox coming close to taking a series was in 2005 when they had that crazy series where a bunch of people were ejected and Dye ended up playing shortstop. Thats the game where Crede got hit, and they called it a strike. He then popped up, and got tossed.

Our struggles in Oakland seem to be way exaggerated in the last few seasons (since 2005). I'm sure we still don't have a winning record there, but I'd bet it's not truly awful.
