Everywhere you look they’ve had their bumps, both literally and figuratively. Some in the case of injuries, but mostly from an offense too home run-driven, a defense too unstable, a bullpen approaching chaos, and a rotation one-man short and two high-priced veterans who have failed in key moments a fair share of times this year. Gavin Floyd, however, has been one of the few constants. And by constant I also mean clutch, and ACE. Like plenty of times throughout the season, he showed it again on Tuesday night against the Yankees. September 17, 200817 yr PK probably has been affected by injuries more this season then he has let on. I still think he is one of the main anchors on ths club. Thome is another one some people were writing off earlier this season
