When I went to France, it was really scary seeing basically the complete disadvantage the Muslim population is in that country and a main reason why they've had so much conflict with them. They are a marginalized community in such an ethnocentric culture. So I found this pretty interesting/cool.

France is arguably the most racist country in Western Europe. It's ok to be a different color there, as long as you're American. Otherwise.... not so much.
