October 1, 200817 yr If the White Sox are fortunate enough to advance to the ALCS, I know they would start on the road versus LAA, but can anyone tell me who has home field advantage if they face the Red Sox? I think despite their record the White Sox would have home field advantage since they are a division winner, correct? Edited October 1, 200817 yr by Pants Rowland

October 1, 200817 yr Correct. A wild card winner will always be trumped by a division winner, even one with an inferior record. The wild card can only have home field advantage in the World Series.
