Jesus rocked

Featured Replies

Cubs down to the Braves 6-3 in the bottom of 7.

-Prior 4.2 6H 6ER 3BB 5K 2HR

-Sosa 4/4 with 2 solo homeruns

-Vinny Castilla 2/3 4RBI HR

Jesus got physically rocked running from 1st to 2nd on a ground ball I saw. He got table topped by the 2nd baseman Giles I think who was going to field the ball and crossed Prior's path.

Jesus and Wood were rocked their last outings. Wonder if the high pitch counts are catching up to them. We could only hope so.

Wood was nowhere near rocked in his last outing. He was rocked 2 outings ago vs. St. Louis but rebounded to win the other day, July 9th, with a CG, 3-hitter, 12 strikeout performance against the Marlins. I think Wood also pitched really well in his start before the St. Louis game.

Prior got banged up pretty good in that collision. He said that after an inning or so, soreness started developing.
