Minor League Free Agents

Featured Replies

561 Players were made minor league free agents on Nov. 6th...

Here's the list from Baseball America.

Lots of garbage to pick through...

But there could be a couple of players who could contribute in there.

The 2009 versions of Carrasco and Wise, maybe.

Couple names I'd point out for a few reasons.

Tony Graffanino, Ben Broussard, Oneli Perez, Victor Zambrano, Casey Rogowski, Ryan Wing, Eric Milton, Morgan Ensberg, Andy Gonzalez, Tomo Ohka, Rob Mackowiak. Cliff Politte.

A couple guys that might actually interest me if we're looking for another bullpen arm are Kiko Calero and Jorge Sosa. No idea on their health status (Calero really went off a cliff lately but his slider used to be nasty, barely pitched last year), but if they're healthy enough to pitch I might not mind seeing if Cooper could pull something off with those guys.

There are a couple of guys from the Cubs minor league system that interested me too...

Guys that are longshots but may benefit from moving to a new organization...

Like Matt Craig, Josh Kroeger, and Carmen Pignatiello.

I think Kroeger's got some talent... just hasn't had a shot yet.

Here's to an unstoppable Charlotte Knight team.

Scott Thorman, Joe THurston, Jason Dubois, Carmen Piggy, Rob Macoviak, Morgan Ensberg, Todd Linden, Freddy Guzman, Yorman Bazardo, Jack Cassel (all in the family baby), Val Majewski, Ben Broussard, Brandon Watson, Justin Huber, Paul Mcnulty, Victor Diaz.

Yeah, i've got a thing for "failed" prospects, but then again so does KW.

I'd take a look at Capellan, Bazardo, Ensberg, Duffy, Huber, Joel Guzman, Calero, and maybe Doyne.

The White Sox need to keep Estee Harris. He'll only be 24 next year and he did well at W-S. Check out his stats. I'd like Ryan Wing and Casey Rogowski back, good guys and good ballplayers. Maybe Joel Guzman, Erik Kratz, Ruben Gotay, Derrick Turnbow, Laynce Nix, Chris Shelton, Gustavo Chacin & Hector Luna.
