July 13, 200322 yr The thing that killed Frank, besides his RBI's and RISP, is the fact that in the last week when we were talking about injury replacements Frank has gone 5-24 (.208) with one rbi and no HRs while Maggs has heated up. Maggs is now hitting 20 points higher than Frank with more RBI's.

July 13, 200322 yr Maggs and Frank's numbers are very similar. The only real differences is that Maggs is hitting 20 points higher and Frank's OBP is much higher due to 30 additional walks... The rest of the numbers are right there together.
July 13, 200322 yr I don't know if anyone has said this but, has anyone else noticed that Frank has sucked since he went back to being the DH instead of playing 1st most of the trime.

I have noticed he wasn't playing 1B as much and wasn't hitting as well. Could Frank not want to play first all the time?? Is he THAT bad defensively? I haven't noticed a huge difference between him and Paulie there.

I haven't noticed a huge difference between him and Paulie there. There was one game where I heard someone say that he had some kind of an injury that was preventing him from playing 1st. But that was about 2-3 weeks ago so it shouldn't be effecting him now. Oh bye the way it looks like paulie is coming around. He had 2 hard shots right up the middle today.
