November 25, 200817 yr Astros acquired LHP Tyler Lumsden from the Royals for a player to be named or cash. Lumsden was designated for assignment by the Royals after going 3-13 with a 7.21 ERA in Triple-A last season. The cost was surely minimal and 40-man roster spots aren't at a premium in Houston, so there's no harm in taking him on. However, it's quite unlikely that Lumsden will ever amount to anything. Ouch thats gotta hurt the ol self esteem

Ouch thats gotta hurt the ol self esteem Buh, Buh, We traded him for Mike Mcdougal! What do you mean that trade wasn't as terrible as we like to think it was? Look, i know that Cortes is the real prospect, but i never felt this deal was as bad as it was labeled. This report lends even more credence to that theory.

MacDougal signed a contract extension and has proceeded to be absolutely f***ing terrible. It was a bad deal.

November 25, 200817 yr He was one of the better relievers in baseball in '06. He had one bad year, though I guess we are still paying for him to not pitch.
